Match Stats - Live Scores, Live In-Play Updates and Match Commentary

I hope that you enjoyed our live coverage of the match here on Skysports.com. Thank you very much for joining me. Hope you have a good afternoon. It's goodbye from me for now.
On the other hand, Norwich are just a place and two points above the relegation zone.
The result means that Brendan Rodgers' side are now five points clear at the top of the table with three more games left to play.
Robert Snodgrass pulled a goal back on 77 minutes to make it a nervy end to the match for Liverpool, who held on for the three points.
Norwich made it 2-1 in the early minutes of the second half when Gary Hooper found the target, but Sterling's deflected effort just past the hour mark restored their two-goal advantage.
Raheem Sterling gave the Reds the lead at Carrow Road with a brilliant strike from outside the box as early as the fourth minute. The youngster was the architect for the second as he set up Luis Suarez for his 30th goal of the league campaign.
It's all over at Carrow Road as Liverpool have got the better of Norwich City 3-2 in the Premier League to go five points clear at the top of the table.
90+5 Norwich City 2-3 Liverpool
90+5 Nothing happens and Liverpool hang on for the points!
90+4 Free kick to Norwich in the final minute of injury time. Every Norwich player is up there...
90+3 Lucas Leiva gets two bites at the cherry and he fails to make the most on both occasion! Suarez tees up the Brazilian inside the box. His initial effort is blocked and the second one does not fare much better either.
90+1 Snodgrass is furious that his appeals for a foul following a challenge from Sakho have been turned down. It did look like a foul to me.
90 Four minutes of injury time have been added on. Four long minutes for Liverpool, four short minutes for Norwich...
88 Two minutes of normal time remain in this match.
88 Suarez earns a free kick after going down under a challenger from Turner. This will give the Liverpool players some time to get themselves together and temper the flow of the game.
85 Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is encouraging his players from the touchlines. Five more minutes left for the Reds to hold onto their lead and go five points clear at the top.
84 The intensity of this contest is absolutely brilliant! Norwich are on fire at the moment and are just pressing on and on. And they are not just kicking long balls either - they are playing with purpose and are thinking before they make the moves. Liverpool are on the back foot and are under real pressure.
82 Ricky van Wolfswinkel! Oh, the striker could have just equalised! He heads a great delivery on target from just yards out, but Simon Mignolet makes a brilliant reaction save. Sensational!
81 Liverpool are able to clear the danger, but the Canaries continue to force the issue and are pressing on for the third goal.
80 Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers makes a change just as Norwich earn a corner yet again. Daniel Agger comes on in place of Joe Allen.
79 John Flanagan gets into the referee's book now for Liverpool.
78 A double-change for the hosts. Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Josh Murphy have come on in place of Gary Hooper and Leroy Fer respectively.
77 Norwich have done it again! It is 3-2 now and it is game on! Robert Snodgrass is the man of the moment as he rises highest to head home a Martin Olsson cross from the left wing.
77 Norwich City 2-3 Liverpool
76 End-to-end action at Carrow Road. First Norwich have the ball inside the Liverpool box and moments later Sterling is trying to cut back for Suarez at the other end.
75 Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers makes a change now. Coutinho goes off and on comes Victor Moses.
72 Jonathan Howson of Norwich gets booked for pulling back Sterling.
71 Liverpool are so so lucky not to have conceded the second goal. Redmond takes a ferocious attempt on goal that hits the bead of Skrtel and goes just wide of goal for a corner. From the resulting set piece, Russell Martin gets a touch on the ball, but it goes over the crossbar and onto the roof the net.
70 There are around 20 minutes left in this match and it is 3-1 to Liverpool, but it remains just as intense and competitive as it was when it 2-0.
68 Brilliant attempt from Snodgrass with his left foot all from 25 yards after being teed up by Fer, but Mignolet makes a good save at his near post. The ball goes out for a corner, which yields nothing for the hosts.
66 Norwich are pressing forward once again. They have a two-goal deficit but the players still believe that they can salvage something from this game.
64 Martin Skrtel is shown a yellow card for Liverpool.
63 Suarez is down the pitch near the Norwich penalty box, screaming in pain. Oh, wait, he is back on his feet again just as Liverpool regain possession. That was the quickest recovery from a player from his injury I have seen all season!
62 Liverpool score their third goal of the match and it is Raheem Sterling who scores what could prove to be the goal that settles the match. He runs the entire length of the Norwich half, gets past a couple of defenders and then shoots on goal. His attempt takes a deflection, and the ball goes past Ruddy and into the net.
62 Norwich City 1-3 Liverpool
60 Half an hour left in this fascinating game of football and it is end-to-end action at the moment. It is really hard to tell if Liverpool will score the fourth goal or if the Canaries will equalise - it is THAT close.
59 Luis Suarez! Brilliant play from the Uruguayan striker, who shows his trickery with his feet and then shoots low on goal, but the ball goes narrowly wide of the far post. Ruddy was beaten and a few inches to the right would have made it 3-1 to Liverpool.
57 There is a buzz in the ground now, as the Norwich fans know that another goal is within reach. Liverpool are not seeing much of the ball and are being forced to play the match inside their own half.
55 Liverpool go on the attack rightaway as Suarez tests Ruddy with a shot from close range, but the Norwich goalkeeper makes a good save, as Sterling was lying in wait for a slip-up.
54 Norwich have done it, they have scored! Gary Hooper is the one who makes it 2-1, taking advantage of a poor clearance from Mignolet to poke the ball home from just yards out into an open goal. A cross from the right came in and the Liverpool goalkeeper failed to clear it away, allowing the Norwich star to halve the deficit.
54 Norwich City 1-2 Liverpool
53 Norwich need to score during this good spell to stand a chance of picking up a point against Liverpool. The Reds have quality upfront and a counterattack from the Merseyside outfit could just end the match as a contest.
52 Yet another corner for Norwich, this time conceded by Gerrard and earned by Redmond. Redmond himself take sit but it is a disappointing delivery.
51 Another corner for Norwich. Can they make it count this time? No, they cannot as Johnson and Coutinho combine to clear it away. The Canaries are looking very energic and purposeful in the opening minutes of the second period.
50 Sterling goes so close to making it 3-0 to Liverpool! Luis Suarez floats a brilliant diagonal ball from midfield for Coutinho, who then tees up Sterling, whose first-time swerving effort is narrowly off target.
49 Snodgrass takes the corner for Norwich, but it is easy for Mignolet to catch it.
48 Norwich on the front foot in the early minutes of the second half, as Skrtel is forced into clearing the ball from inside the Liverpool area.
46 The second half is now underway.
The two sets of players are now on the pitch and the game will resume shortly.
The second half will get underway in a matter of minutes. An early goal for Norwich could prove to be crucial. But if Liverpool score first in the second period, then Norwich will have no way back.
Stuart Duncan writes: 'Liverpool will wrap this one up second half'
Sean Mia says: 'This is painful viewing from a Manchester United fan. Watching the game on mute because Liverpool fans singing they're gonna win the league'
Mark Paul has sent me a tweet to say: 'I'm loving the work rate of Norwich and i can see them coming back into this. Maybe Hooper will sneak in a goal or two.'
So what have you made of the game so far? Can Norwich stage a comeback in the second half? Will Liverpool slip up or will they score more? Send me your opinion and predictions for the second half, and I will post the best ones on this page. You can email me at Subhankar.Mondal@bskyb.com or tweet me @subhankarjourno.
It's half time at Carrow Road and Liverpool are 2-0 ahead against their hosts Norwich City. Sterling scored a sensational goal after just four minutes and set up his teammate Suarez seven minutes later for the second. However, since then the Canaries have pushed forward to pull a goal back and give themselves a chance of staging a comeback.
45+3 Norwich City 0-2 Liverpool
45 Two minutes of injury time have been added at the end of the first half.
45 Michael Turner is shown the yellow card for his challenge on Raheem Sterling in midfield. The Liverpool youngster needs medical attention, but he should be fine.
43 Brilliant patient build-up play from Liverpool, who pass the ball around with calm and composure. Coutinho takes the final shot, but it goes narrowly wide.
42 Liverpool are trying to slow down the tempo of the game in the final minutes of the first half. They are passing the ball inside their own half at the moment.
40 Oh, if Hooper was more prepared! He is inside the box and gets the ball passed to him. He gets around Sakho, who is blind-sided, but then Simon Mignolet comes in and claims the ball. It all happened so quickly for Hooper, who has got a few half-chances here and there - he will need to convert one of them.
39 Another attacking move for Norwich goes to waste. A cross is floated in from the left and it goes straight to Redmond, who then carves out a delivery from the right. Again, it evades everyone inside the box.
37 This has been a very fascinating game of football so far and very competitive. Norwich are 2-0 down, but they are not at all deflated. In fact, Liverpool are actually looking a bit flat in their attack, although they are defending pretty well and comfortably.
35 Snodgrass is looking very good and creative for Norwich. This time he goes on a run and tries to release Hooper, but the attacking foray goes to waste, thanks to Glen Johnson.
34 Gerrard takes the free kick with his right foot, but Bradley Johnson heads it away for a corner. The Liverpool captain takes the corner and this time John Ruddy catches the ball with ease.
33 Free kick to Liverpool on the left flank, as Steven Whittaker brings down Raheem Sterling. Gerrard will take it...
32 Martin Skrtel to the rescue for Liverpool as he hacks away a dangerous cross from the right. Mamadou Sakho was the guilty party, as he failed to control an easy ball and allowed Norwich to send in the cross.
30 Half an hour gone and it is still 2-0 to Liverpool against Norwich City. The hosts have showed signs that they are not out of the game yet, but the Reds look fairly comfortable.
29 Robert Snodgrass becomes the first player to be booked today for a really nasty challenge on Joe Allen.
28 Steven Gerrard to the rescue for Liverpool, as he clears away a dangerous-looking ball over the top into the box. What a great season this is turning out to be for one of the best players ever in the Premier League!
26 Joe Allen! The Liverpool midfielder almost makes it 3-0 out of nothing. He receives the ball outside the Norwich box and takes a shot on goal. It goes narrowly wide, but it was a good attempt.
24 Good pace shown by Sterling, who goes on a run from midfield and then releases the ball down to the right. The Reds eventually fail to construct anything concrete, though.
23 Liverpool appear to have recovered from the last few minutes of Norwich pressure and are now back to playing their usual composed and passing football.
21 The free kick is floated in, but the Liverpool defenders deal with it perfectly and make no mistake in clearing it away. The hosts have now started to get a grip on the match and are showing urgency to pull a goal back.
20 Free kick to Norwich on the left flank as Glen Johnson brings down Redmond.
18 Joe Allen has looked very energetic in this match and has made a few good blocks and interventions near his penalty area.
17 Norwich almost make it 2-1! A free kick from the left creates confusion inside the Reds box. Hooper's shot from just yards out is blocked and although the ball remains inside the area for a short period of time, Liverpool finally clear it away.
16 Norwich have not given up just yet, but there is a distinct difference in quality between the hosts and Liverpool. And that is mirrored in the scoreline.
15 Norwich go on yet another attacking foray, as Robert Snodgrass and Gary Hooper combine to release Nathan Redmond down the left. The hosts eventually earn the corner, but it is finally cleared away by a certain Martin Skrtel.
13 Brilliant play from Coutinho, who dribbles past his marker in midfield. The Brazilian is a real gem and you wonder why Inter Milan let him go.
12 We have played just over 10 minutes and Liverpool are 2-0 up! Any chance that Norwich would be able to launch a comeback? Looks very, very unlikely now. Brendan Rodgers' side are just controlling the match so well.
11 Who else but Luis Suarez to continue to score in the Premier League, his 30th of the season in the league now! It is Sterling who is the architect of the goal. The youngster is released down the left and he carves out a good cross that Suarez just pokes home from close range.
11 Norwich City 0-2 Liverpool
9 It is almost 2-0 to Liverpool! This time Joe Allen is released down the right inside the Norwich box. He takes a first-time right-footed shot that is on target, but Ruddy makes a very good save.
8 Rare attacking foray for Norwich that could have yielded a goal. Leroy Fer releases Steven Whittaker down the right, but his cross is not met by anyone. However, the ball is kept in play and it eventually falls to Gary Hooper, who fails to get his final attempt on target.
7 Good link-up play between Coutinho and Suarez on the edge of the Norwich box. The Brazilian slips a good pass to the striker, who tries to wriggle his way into the area, but fails.
5 Brilliant start to the game for the Reds, who will now be looking for more. Is there a hammering on the way for Norwich?
4 Liverpool take the lead and how! Raheem Sterling is teed up outside the box and he slams it home with his right foot, giving Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy no chance of making a save whatsoever.
4 Norwich City 0-1 Liverpool
3 There has been a very lively match to this match and Liverpool have been doing most of the running. Luis Suarez, Raheem Sterling, Philippe Coutinho, Steven Gerrard and Joe Allen have all got touches on the ball.
2 Liverpool are already looking to launch an attack down the left flank, but the hosts are aware of it and stop it before it can develop into something concrete.
1 Norwich get the game underway at Carrow Road...
The pre-match formalities are over and the match will get underway in a matter of minutes!
The players are now on the pitch, as the pre-match formalities are about to take place.
The players are out of their dressing room and are getting ready to come out onto the pitch.
Just around five minutes to kickoff and the excitement is building up at Carrow Road!
Some very interesting comments and predictions from you. Let's see how the match pans out. I have to say that Liverpool will be favourites, but Norwich as underdogs can spring a surprise or two.
Kevin writes: 'Suarez will be full of confidence against Norwich playing as the central striker and with his past record against them. 0-3 Suarez to bag 2 and Sterling. YNWA'
Ian, who lives in the USA, has emailed me to say: 'As a Liverpool fan who remembers the last time they won the league I can't express how excited I am that they are in the position they are in now. I've moved to the US and have an American wife, thankfully she enjoys football as much as I do, I'm hoping that she will be celebrating a win today. Norwich (ironically the same named town that I live in in upstate NY) have a very decent home record, it could be a close game but I would love to see Suarez continue his norm against the Canaries.'
Kam Rayat: '3-1 Liverpool, Suarez hattrick!!!!'
Patrick has emailed me to write: 'Massive game for Liverpool today i think it will be 4:1 Liverpool and Suarez and Gerard scoring'
Jordan Wright says: 'Going for a win to the Pool, 4-1 To the reds, Suarez With 3 and Gerrard with 1 COYR'
David Hobson: 'As a Liverpool supporter I have to agree that our bench isn't very strong. We've been fortunate this season as we haven't been hampered with European fixtures. Next season will be a lot harder, so we need to buy in the summer. Hoping for a win today, Suarez and Stevie G to both get on the sheet. YNWA'
Daniel Magri Demajo from Malta has written to me to say: 'life time liverpool fan from malta....looking forward to this and even though feel sorry for norwich i go for an easy 2-0 win..last time lpool won the league i was thin and a head full of hair'
Stuart Mount: 'Liverpool fan here, this weekend has been almost perfect for us (City equalisers Grrrr) it can't all go our way 1-1 '
Chris Palmer has sent me a tweet to say: 'Liverpool 4-1 skrtel header, Suarez to get 2 and Moses to get the last!'
Ryan Harman writes: 'I'm a west ham fan but would like liverpool to win the league. My prediction..1-3 Liverpool. Suarez to score 2 and sterling'
John Hayes has sent me a tweet to say: 'Liverpool to win not as cosily as usual but enough to get three points. Draw or lose this one and the wheels could falloff'
Luke Spires has sent me a tweet saying: 'Norwich line up looks average, not happy a NCFC fan!!! However looking at the Liverpool midfield could be a chance for city'
I have been getting loads of emails from you guys this morning, so let me post some of the best ones now.
Norwich manager Neil Adams has a tough task on his hands today and perhaps he will settle for a point at home. Liverpool have won their last 10 league matches and head into the game as favourites to pick up yet another win.
Liverpool got a massive boost in their quest for the Premier League title on Saturday as Chelsea suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Sunderland at Stamford Bridge. The winning goal for the Black Cats was scored by a certain Fabio Borini - who is on loan at Sunderland from Liverpool. Maybe Brendan Rodgers had planned this all along!?
An interesting fact for you: Luis Suarez has scored three more league goals this season than the entire Norwich team. Fascinating!
Just under 30 minutes remain for kickoff at Carrow Road. It is a vital game for both sides: Norwich need to win to get some breathing space near the relegation zone, while victory for Liverpool would see them take a massive step towards their first championship triumph in the Premier League era.
Oli has written to me to give his prediction of the game: 'Im going 1-3 Liverpool suarez with 2 and Gerrard with another penalty'
Michael Carrick (not the Manchester United midfielder!) has emailed me to say: 'Life-long Liverpool fan and I'm expecting a very testing game today, nerves will show, I think we will come away with a draw but there will be goals.'
Paul Herdman tells me: 'I'm a liverpool fan and I can't see us slipping up on this game, you'll laugh when you see this but I'm going 0-7. Suarez to get 5 , gerrard and skrtel. You heard it here first.'
Ayesha Ziya says: 'As a Liverpool fan this weekend has already been amazing with results.. 3 points today will put us very close to the trophy. I know the players will play there magic. Tough game ahead but I know Liverpool and they are unstoppable right now!!YNWA!'
Ivor McNamara has emailed me to say: 'The glaring thing from looking at this Liverpool team is the lack of quality on the bench. If Liverpool are a goal down with 20 minutes left, there is little quality on the bench to change things. I wonder in the last 4 games will Liverpool's lack of squad depth come back to haunt them?'
Tom Tindall from Norwich writes: 'I'm thinking we will win 2-0 today to ruin Liverpool's title hopes.'
Ethan Weedon says: 'Massive game today for Liverpool as Chelsea dropped points yesterday.. I'm going for 4-1 Lfc with Suarez with 2 Gerrard pen and sterling! YNWA'
Chris Green from Huddersfield has sent me an email giving his prediction for the match: 'Liverpool to win 4-0, with Gerrard and Suarez (3) scoring the goals.'
What do you make of the team lineups? Is the absence of Sturridge going to affect Liverpool? Will Hooper coming in for Van Wolfswinkel going to help Norwich? Send me your thoughts and I will post them on this page.
So one change for Norwich, as Gary Hooper replaces Ricky Van Wolfswinkel in attack. Meanwhile, Liverpool make two changes from their win against Manchester City last Sunday. Midfielders Lucas Leiva and Joe Allen replace the suspended Jordan Henderson and injured Daniel Sturridge.
Liverpool Subs: Brad Jones, Toure, Agger, Alberto, Aspas, Moses, Cissokho
LIVERPOOL XI: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan, Allen, Gerrard, Lucas, Sterling, Suarez, Coutinho
Norwich Subs: Van Wolfswinkel, Bunn, Gutierrez, Garrido, Ryan Bennett, Tettey, Murphy
NORWICH CITY XI: Ruddy, Whittaker, Martin, Turner, Olsson, Snodgrass, Howson, Johnson, Redmond, Fer, Hooper
Before we continue our look-ahead to the match, let me bring you the team news. I will type the lineups shortly, but let me tell you that there is no place in the Liverpool team for Daniel Sturridge, who is injured. As for Norwich, Gary Hooper starts up front.
On the other hand, Norwich are struggling at the wrong end of the table. The Canaries are currently a place above the relegation zone with 32 points from 34 matches, two points ahead of Cardiff City, who are third from bottom.
Heading into the match, Liverpool find themselves two points clear at the top of the Premier League table. Brendan Rodgers' side have picked up 77 points from 34 matches - a win today will see them extend their advantage to five points and take a huge step towards the title.
