Plenty with claims in this but INTOMIST bids for a hat trick and is unpenalised for his latest win in an apprentices race at Salisbury. He scored on the Polytrack before that and looks to have stronger form than Bold Ring, who has been raised 5lb for her recent victory over track and trip. Wise Venture went close at Warwick last time and is dropping down a grade while Bang Tidy scored in better company at Doncaster last month and is only 3lb higher today. Homeward Strut and Abhaath are others with a shout.

Oddschecker Verdict

Bold Ring is evidently on good terms with herself right now and bagged a double when striking over track and trip 15 days ago. However, whether she's weighted to complete a hat-trick, 11lb higher than when her sequence began, is open to debate, and preference is therefore for BANG TIDY, who is 3lb higher than for his 7f win at Doncaster last month and looked to find his stamina stretched over 1m at Warwick latest. Intomist arrives in rude health and is respected despite a wide draw while Wise Venture cannot be left out of calculations after returning to form at Warwick.
