Asima, Elle Dorado, Imperial Link and Scots Fern have all shown signs of ability but it would be no surprise if this went to one of the newcomers. Chapel Choir is half-sister to several decent winners so is worth a second look. She looks a better bet than stablemate Vivi's Charis though Sir Michael Stoute often sends his two-year-olds here for the experience. Hyphaema has a nice pedigree but is likely to need further. WALDNAH is out of the mare that produced St Leger winner Masked Marvel so stamina will also be her forte. But she's also by New Approach and could be hard to beat if she's inherited any of her sire's speed.

Oddschecker Verdict

CHAPEL CHOIR is a beautifully-bred half-sister to stable companion Gospel Choir, winner of the Jockey Club and Yorkshire Cup this season, and consistent Mark Johnston inmate Sennockian Star. On that breeding, she's going to need every yard of the 1m on her racecourse debut and the daughter of Dalakhani can make it a winning debut. Hyphaema is another debutant that makes plenty of appeal on breeding and she represents an in-form stable, while the likes of Waldnah and Elle Dorado cannot be overlooked either.

Prediction: 1st Chapel Choir, 2nd Hyphaema, 3rd Waldnah
