TINGHIR will have come on for his reappearance fifth at Newmarket last month. A couple of winners have already come out of the race and David Lanigan's colt can open his account in this company. Thouwra looks the biggest threat with a fourth at Nottingham under his belt as that's much better form than any of the remainder have so far shown. Finn Mac finished ahead of Big John Cannon when sixth at Thirsk and French import, Confusing, may be capable of better this year for new connections.

TINGHIR has had a host of entries in the past week and it's interesting that David Lanigan has chosen to send the son of Dansili here in the attempt to break his maiden. He showed plenty of promise when fifth behind Improvisation in a useful maiden at headquarters on his return and that form makes greater appeal than that of his seemingly sole rival in Thouwra. Godolphin's Pivotal colt has shown up well on both starts and is the obvious threat after a pleasing reappearance behind Centurius at Nottingham last month.
