Sporting Life Preview

ZABANA should take this as he won on the Flat at Tramore in October and reappeared over timber for new connections earlier this month with a fine effort behind Band Of Blood at Limerick. Winning point-to-pointer Big Vincey has been well supported in his two starts over hurdles and showed enough potential at Kilbeggan last time to get involved while Sunsetstorise made a promising hurdling debut over a slightly longer trip here and was in touch until fading from the last. King William looked a nice prospect on his first two bumpers starts but hasn't been seen since a poor run in November.

Oddschecker Verdict

Useful Flat performer ZABANA made a promising start to his hurdling career when third over this trip at Limerick 18 days ago and, entitled to have learnt plenty from that experience, he looks the most likely winner tonight. Big Vincey was disappointing on his hurdling debut but has since run well for fifth in a Kilbeggan bumper and the booking of Barry Geraghty looks a fair pointer in itself. Sunsetstorise makes up the shortlist.

Prediction: 1st Zabana, 2nd Big Vincey, 3rd Sunsetstorise
