Sporting Life Preview

With her stable in sparkling form, QUEEN AGGIE is taken to defy a 7lb rise for her comfortable victory here earlier this month, especially as George Downing's claim takes care of most of the extra. Malaysian Boleh scored at Lingfield last week but had earlier run very well here and should make a bold bid to defy a penalty and is another with a very competent claimer on board. Be Royale scored at Southwell last week but his earlier forays on this surface weren't as successful while Shades Of Silk has yet to prove she stays this far. Random was making her handicap debut when successful here last month. She'll find this tougher from her new mark but she has more to offer and should get into the frame.

Oddschecker Verdict

QUEEN AGGIE justified market support when upped to this distance here and although the assessor has reacted with a 7lb rise, she was very dominant and there is obviously more to come from her. Malaysian Boleh is a threat if this doesn't come too soon after last week's battling Lingfield victory. Be Royale is another with a penalty to shoulder, while Random stepped forward on all known form when making a successful handicap debut over 6f and the form has worked out quite well.

Prediction: 1st Queen Aggie, 2nd Random, 3rd Malaysian Boleh
