Steven Gerrard has spoken to MK Dons about the vacant manager's role and is now as short as 2/7 to land the job.
Former Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard could sensationally be announced as the next manager of MK Dons.
Following the news Gerrard was departing LA Galaxy it was rumoured he would be making a return to Liverpool. But after it was announced Gerrard had spoken to MK Dons about the vacant role with the League One side on Thursday, the odds on him have significantly shortened.
After starting the day at 10/1 with BetVictor, Gerrard is now as short as 2/7 with SkyBet to land the role.

It had been believed Gerrard was planning to move into coaching once his playing days were over. But that was widely expected to be in a role alongside current Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
However, the latest surge in the MK Dons manager market suggests Gerrard could well be the man to take over from Karl Robinson.
