A quick look at this morning's best-backed runners and riders from around the tracks.
First up we're off to Hereford where ADRRASTOS is a very strong favourite for the 13.00. Jamie Snowden's 4yo shaped with promise on his hurdling debut when runner-up behind Keep In Line at Huntingdon earlier in the month and that form took a welcome boost last week with the winner going on to defy a penalty in good style at Bangor. 6/4 on first showing last night, he's now as short as 4/6 with some firms (best price 8/11).
Next it's to Plumpton and their 15.40 where MISS FORTYWINKS has been well supported all morning. A winner over hurdles, the 7yo was a well beaten fourth of 11 on her latest outing in a chase at Southwell over 2m (good) earlier this month. Still well treated on her best hurdles form, punters have backed the Seamus Mullins mare into as short as 11/4 from 7/1 last night (best price 7/2).
Another well supported favourite is ISSUE in Kempton's 15.20. James Fanshawe's filly was well clear of the rest when third on debut here last month and the two who finished ahead of her have won subsequently, so the form looks very solid indeed. Opening up as big as 5/2 on Sunday evening, the 3yo is now as short as 5/4 with some bookies (best price 6/4).
Completing today's movers is DOMESDAY BOOK in the 15.15 at Wexford. A previous winner over both hurdles and fences, the 6yo was last seen finishing fourth of 15 at Punchestown over 2m5f (yielding) in April. Back from a break today and with the stable in good form, Ruby Walsh's mount has been backed in from as big as 11/4 into as short as 11/8 (best price 13/8).
