A run through this morning's best backed runners and riders.
The first of today's movers is in the opener at Market Rasen where Charlie Longsdon's VIVAS is a well-backed 6/4 favourite, having been as big as 9/4 this morning. The 5yo has been placed in three hurdle races and was last seen finishing second of seven at 7/4fav last month at Stratford. Having started favourite in each of his last three outings, punters will be hoping for a return on their investment today.
Next we are off to Newbury's 13.30 where TEAK has been the subject of support. A winner of three races over hurdles, the 9yo's last victory came over two years ago. Last seen finishing 13 of 33 in the Cesarewitch, punters appear to be hoping he can translate that form back over jumps today. As big as 18/1 on first showing last night, he's now a general 13/2 shot (best price 8/1).
Up at Musselburgh, WEMYSS POINT has been backed in the 16.05 for trainer Philp Kirby. With little to no form to go on in the race, the support for the 4yo could be revealing. 20/1 this morning, some firms are now as short as 17/2 (best price 10/1).
Finally, it's back to Market Rasen and the 14.45 where RUN RUCTIONS RUN is the mover for Dr Richard Newland. Winner of four hurdle races, a bumper and a chase on varying ground, the 7yo is having her first run for the stable today. 9/1 this morning, bookies have cut her into as short as 9/2 (best price 6/1).
