I'm a Celebrity 2016: Line-up confirmed

After an excruciating wait, the line-up has been confirmed for the 16th series of ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’. Several of the contestants have already landed in Australia for the show which begins on Sunday at 9pm where Ant & Dec will introduce us to the twelve campmates. We’ve assessed the celebrities and given them a rating out of five on what we believe their chances of winning the show are.

Googlebox’s Scarlett Mofatt, comedian Joel Dommett and TV legend Carol Vorderman lead the way to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle. Scarlett already has a legion of fans and is certain to keep us entertained in the jungle, whilst Joel made his name on the popular E4 series Skins and Carol Vorderman is one of the biggest names in this year’s show after hosting several TV shows over a 25 year career.

Representing Team GB is Sam Quek. Sam won gold in Rio with the women Hockey team and was part of the penalty shootout win against Netherlands in the final. We’ll also see another ex- Premier League footballer enter the jungle. Wayne Bridge will be hoping to go further than previous contestants, Kieran Dyer and Jimmy Bullard.

Elsewhere, Ola Jordan and Jordan Banjo who have made their names on Strictly Come Dancing and Britain’s got Talent respectively have also been recruited for the series. Given Ola and Jordan both come from popular TV shows already, could they spring a surprise?

Soap stars Larry Lamb and Adam Thomas will be flying the flag for Eastenders and Emmerdale. Larry had a high-profile relationship with last year’s campmate Lady C, whilst Adam is the brother of Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas and earlier in the year his twin brother was on the popular show Love Island. Both actor’s are certain to have a huge fan base already behind them.

The final contestant we’ll see in the jungle is Lisa Snowdown. Lisa is a former radio host and model who enjoyed a five year on/off relationship with George Clooney. She also took part in series six of Strictly Come Dancing.
