Lithuania v England - Monday 19:45, ITV1

England were somewhat underwhelming in beating Estonia 2-0 at Wembley with qualification already secured and for this final qualifier Hodgson is set to shuffle his squad, promising to pick an ‘interesting team’ with Jagielka captaining the side and Butland, Jones, and Shelvey all starting.

Lithuania have a W4-D1-L4 record at home in their last two qualifying campaigns with seven of these games having fewer than three goals and at least one team failing to score in six. We have England ranked 12th in the world and Lithuania have lost all five of their qualifiers at home to sides ranked 10 places either side of England since 2007, failing to score in four of these matches but with four having fewer than three goals as they only lost by more than one goal in one of these games.

England’s record in away Euro and World Cup qualifiers since 2010 is W9-D4-L0 with six wins by more than one goal as they kept an impressive eight clean sheets and led at half-time in nine of these matches. Lithuania are ranked as 107th in the world according to our gradings and England have won all seven of their away qualifiers against sides ranked between 60th and 160th since 2006 while conceding only once.

Even with a rotated squad England should be too strong for Lithuania and under Roy Hodgson they’ve maintained a very good defensive record so we’ll take the win to nil here.
