After another disappointing performance at a major tournament England have their first game since the embarrassing defeat to Iceland. Sam Allardyce has replaced Roy Hodgson as the manager of the national team which has been labelled as the worst job in football because of the pressure which comes with it.
Allardyce will be aiming to end a 50 year curse of winning a major tournament and he will be hoping to start off with a victory in a friendly against Slovakia. We’ve taken a look at how England have performed following the last five major tournaments which they have participated in.
