Perth can maintain their unbeaten home record when they face the Wanderers on Sunday.
Perth Glory v Western Sydney Wanderers - Sunday 08:00, BT Sport ESPN
Perth suffered their first defeat of the season as they were beaten 2-1 at Brisbane and consequently drop down to 4th. The Wanderers are down in 7th after they could only manage home draws against the Jets and the Mariners in their last two, despite leading in both these games.
Perth have now won six of seven unbeaten home games, with the exception when they remarkably let a 3-0 lead slip against the Mariners on the opening day of the season. They’ve scored 23 goals in these seven games and though they managed clean sheets against Wellington, the Jets and the Mariners last term, they conceded at least twice in the rest of these games.
The Wanderers beat struggling Adelaide in their only road game so far, but their record when travelling to the top six last term was just W1-D2-L3, and that was when they were in much better form than they are now. With that in mind, Perth look an excellent price to win at 2.1, but given their shaky defence, conceding seven already this term, we’re going to back Perth to win and both teams to score.
