The Mariners look an excellent price to make it back-to-back A League.
Central Coast Mariners v Wellington Phoenix - Saturday 06:35, BT Sport 1
The Mariners picked up their first win in 15 games as they won 2-1 at Champions Adelaide to move up to 8th. Phoenix, meanwhile, ended a run of eight straight defeats with a 2-0 win at home to the Jets and as a result are up to 9th, a couple of points behind the Mariners.
The Mariners have trailed at the break in each of their five games so far but managed to rescue a point at both Perth and the Wanderers to go with that victory over Adelaide. They’ve played just once at home and were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Brisbane, who have had a strong start to the season. Indeed, the Mariners look a much better side this term under Paul Okon and we fancy them to win.
Phoenix have lost 11 of their 16 road games since the start of last season, including a 3-1 defeat at the Mariners themselves. They were thumped 6-1 in their last road game and since they lost three of four winless trips to fellow bottom-three teams last term, the Mariners look an excellent price at 2.58 to make it back-to-back wins.
