City should have too much for a Brisbane side that struggle at the big teams.
Melbourne City v Brisbane Roar – Saturday 08:50, BT Sport 1
The Roar are now winless in three after a trio of 1-1s but getting a point here won’t be easy.
Melbourne City are unbeaten in five and currently sit second in the table behind high-flying Sydney. The hosts could be without Tim Cahill tomorrow but even still they look a very tempting price to record a fourth straight home victory. They’ve won two-thirds of their home games since the start of last season and they’ve led at the break in 12 as well. Fans of City are rarely bored. An incredible 17 of their last 18 home matches have had Over 2.5 Goals yet, HOLY MOLY, it’s 1.75 for an 18th in 19. We can’t leave that unbacked.
Brisbane have long struggled in their toughest games, winning just two of their last 15 travelling to top-six sides. Their overall record in those matches reads W2-D4-L9 and eight of the defeats have had Over 2.5 Goals.
The home win and Over 2.5 goals both look great here so combine the two at 2.90 with Coral.
