Arsenal v Ludogorets – Wednesday 19:45, BT Sport 2

European giants PSG, Bayern Munich and Barcelona all play at home on Wednesday but it’s Arsenal who are the shortest price of the night as they host Bulgarian side Ludogorets.

Arsenal had to work hard for a 3-2 win over Swansea at the weekend but they can’t really afford to rest anyone here as they trade blows with PSG for the coveted top-spot in Group A. We’ve got Ludogorets ranked as the 102nd best team in Europe (sandwiched between Rayo Vallecano and Spartak Moscow for those interested) and Wenger is no stranger to facing teams of a similar ilk. In 14 home Champions League group stage matches, Arsenal have gone W13-D1-L0 against teams ranked outside the top-50 and 10 of the games have been HT/FT W/Ws. They’ve conceded in half of the matches hosting the ‘minnows’ though so the 3.10 about a Gunners win when conceding looks decent value given the Bulgarians scored against both Basel and PSG.

Arsenal could run riot here but the prices for their big stars to get on the scoresheet are pretty short. Giroud and Sanchez are both odds on so we’d be more tempted to back the on form Walcott to net anytime at 2.20 or to get another brace at 7.0 with Boyles.
