Real Madrid to get back to winning ways in a high scoring game against Las Palmas on Saturday evening.
Following their flying start to the season, Las Palmas were brought back to reality with a 4-1 thumping at the hands of Real Sociedad in midweek. However, by winning their opening two home games, Las Palmas have now triumphed in eight of their last 14 in the Canary Islands. Their three defeats in this time have come against the ‘Big Three’, though they did score in two of these.
Real Madrid missed out on a record-breaking 17th consecutive La Liga victory as they were held by Villarreal at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night. On the road they’ve won nine on the bounce and remain unbeaten under Zidane. It comes as no surprise that Real’s winning streak came to an end with holding midfielder Casemiro side-lined as the Brazilian has become almost indispensable with his defensive presence essential in a team full of attacking superstars. His absence may be felt again here with Real failing to keep a clean sheet in the last eight he’s missed.
Madrid should get back to winning ways but considering Las Palmas have netted in nine of their last 10 at home and Casemiro’s absence we’re backing Real Madrid to Win and Both Teams to Score.
