La Lioga new boys Leganes have struggled in front of their own fans.
Leganes v Sevilla – Saturday 12:00, Sky Sports 5
Leganes are holding their own in their first ever showing in Spain’s top division, sitting in 11th. However, this has mainly been down to their form on the road where they’ve won three of their four games. Compare this to just one point from three at home, though Barcelona and Atletico were two of the visitors.
For Sevilla it’s the same old story: imperious at home but unable to win away. It’s incredible to think they’ve won two Europa League titles since their last win in the league on the road, so they are certainly due.
Prior to the 2015/16 season Sevilla had won five of six unbeaten matches when travelling to promoted sides, so if they can beat anybody it might be Leganes. Their away record could also have been a lot better with a bit more luck as they’ve drawn half their games on the road since the start of last season. The La Liga new boys have struggled in front of their own fans and so we’ll back Sevilla to finally secure that elusive away win.%BOO
