With little to separate these two sides, the value might lie with the visitors.
Leganes v Osasuna - Monday 19:45, Sky Sports 2
Both these teams have struggled so far this season, which is to be expected of promoted sides but it’s Leganes who are faring slightly better, hovering above the relegation zone in 17th place, three points ahead of second-bottom Osasuna. Leganes have lost seven of their last nine, including each of their last four, and they’ve conceded at least two goals in all seven of these defeats. They have at least managed three victories this season however, two more than their opponents here can boast. Osasuna have lost six of their 11 matches so far, though only twice in their five away games, with one of these against Real Madrid.
Leganes’ home form is appalling at first glance (W0-D1-L4), but it should be noted that only one of these games was against a team currently lower than sixth in the table. It’s been a tough introduction to top-flight football for Asier Garitano’s side, but after winning this fixture 2-0 in last season’s Segunda they’ll see this as a great opportunity to lift themselves away from the bottom three. Indeed, the bookies seem to agree, with the best price for the hosts at 1.91, but at 4.75 there’s much more value to be found in backing Osasuna. With little to separate these two sides, we like the look of Osasuna (draw no bet) at 3.32.
