Galaxy were draw specialists on the road last season so a stalemate could be on the cards.
Colorado v LA Galaxy - Sunday 19:05, Sky Sports 5
This tie is evenly poised after Galaxy won the first leg 1-0 thanks to a second-half strike from former Spurs man Giovani dos Santos. Colorado finished six points ahead of Galaxy in the regular season and so they’ll be confident of getting a result here, but the fact that they failed to get that all-important away goal has to be a concern.
Colorado were unbeaten at home in the regular season, winning 11 of their 17 games whilst conceding just seven goals. However, they managed only 20 themselves and as a result 13 of these saw fewer than three goals, while nine had fewer than two, including a 1-0 win over Galaxy themselves.
Galaxy were draw specialists on the road in the regular season (W4-D8-L5) and they were also an ‘unders’ side as 10 of these saw fewer than three goals, while seven had less than two. When travelling to top-half sides they were W1-D6-L3 and given that we expect a low-scoring encounter, the draw looks an excellent option at 3.4, though it might be worth having a saver on Colorado winning by one goal at 3.6 given their impressive home record.
