Malaga v Athletic Bilbao - Sunday 17:30, Sky Sports 1

Juande Ramos has had a tough start to his spell in charge of Malaga as his side have managed just the one win so far and as a result find themselves down in 17th. Bilbao lost their first two but have bounced back strongly by winning their last four to climb up to 5th, where they finished last season.

Malaga’s success last term was built upon an excellent defence, which was the fourth best in the division, but they’re yet to keep a clean sheet so far this season. Their home record since the start of last term is W9-D7-L6 and when hosting sides between 4th and 10th they’re a disappointing W2-D1-L4 in that time. Those games that were very low-scoring, due largely to the fact that Malaga failed to score in five. As a result six had fewer than three goals, while four had fewer than two.

Bilbao have won their last two on the road and seven of their nine away wins since the start of last season were without conceding. They’ve not scored more than twice in any of their last eight road games though, so we’re backing Athletic to Win and Under 2.5 Goals, to pile on the pressure on Juande Ramos.
