Stoke can cash in against a Burnley side who don't have a good record the road.
Stoke v Burnley - Saturday 15:00
Stoke recorded their fourth victory in six games last weekend, beating a spiritless Watford side (though with a somewhat fortunate goal) in a match they should have won more comfortably. Nonetheless, Mark Hughes’ team have moved up to 11th in the table, rising above their opponents here in the process, and their disastrous start to the season now seems like a distant memory.
Burnley were unable to avoid a second consecutive defeat last time out at home to Man City following on from their 4-0 drubbing against West Brom the week before. This time the margin of defeat was just a single goal, and Sean Dyche’s side even led the game at one point after an early goal. However, The Clarets will not be judged on such results, as they are far more likely to pick up points against the lesser sides in the division, but their away form will leave their fans with a sense of trepidation heading into this game. Defeat at West Brom leaves them with four losses and a draw in their five road matches so far, and they’ve managed just a solitary strike during this run, as well as conceding at least three goals in each of their four defeats.
Given Burnley’s struggles away from Turf Moor coupled with Stoke’s resurgence, we’re backing a home win to nil at 2.8.
