Can Celtic's heroics in the Champions League continue into this potential banana skin at Dundee?
Dundee v Celtic - Saturday 19:45, BT Sport Extra
Having won on the opening day at Ross County, Dundee have since failed to win any of their last six and as a result are down in 9th. Celtic have had no such problems as they’ve won five of six unbeaten games and while they’re still looking for their first clean sheet they’ve scored 23 goals already. Indeed, they put three past Man City in midweek, but let a lead slip three times to draw 3-3 in what was another thrilling Celtic game this term.
Dundee have a W7-D9-L7 home record since the start of last season but they’ve struggled against the top teams as they’ve lost five of six winless games against top-three sides in that time, netting just twice.
Celtic have won just 14 of their 22 road games since the start of last season but their record when travelling to bottom-half sides last term was an excellent W7-D3-L0. They led at the break in seven of these games but kept just three clean sheets as only two of their wins were by more than two goals. As a result we’re going to avoid Brendan Rodgers’ men on the handicap and instead back Celtic to win and both teams to score, as has been the case in five of their six games this term.
