Roma have led at the break in nine of their 12 away wins since the start of last season.
Empoli v Roma - Sunday 14:00, BT Sport Europe
Empoli slumped to a 2-0 defeat at Napoli in midweek meaning they’re now winless and remarkably without a goal in their last seven. Indeed, they’ve failed to score in nine of their 10 games overall this term, the exception being against Crotone, who look certain to finish bottom of the division. Roma have had no such troubles in front of goal as they’ve already scored 26 times, thanks largely to the form of Edin Dzeko, who’s accounted for 10 of those.
Empoli did manage to hold Chievo to a goalless draw in their last home game but their record when hosting top-four sides is W0-D1-L5 since the start of last season as they failed to score in half of these and trailed at the break in four.
Roma have managed just one clean sheet in their last nine, which puts us off the win to nil somewhat, though if they are going to shut anybody out, Empoli are of course the most likely candidates. Instead, since Luciano Spalletti’s men have beaten Napoli and Sassuolo in their last two road games and Roma have led at the break in nine of their 12 away wins since the start of last season, we’re backing Roma/Roma Half-Time/Full-Time.25% Profit Boost on Premier League 5-folds
