Roma shouldn't have much difficulty in bouncing back to winning ways on Sunday.
Roma v Pescara – Sunday 19:45, BT Sport Europe
Pescara enter the Wolves’ lair on Sunday night as they head to the Stadio Olimpico to face a Roma side keen to reassert themselves after a frustrating loss to Atalanta last weekend. The hosts romped to victory in the Europa League midweek, and they will be expecting to breeze past a side who have been dominated by almost everyone they’ve come across this season.
Realistically, Pescara will be looking to operate a policy of damage limitation this weekend, knowing full well that it would take a serious upset for them to take any points off Roma at home; they’ve not scored at all in their last four league games, and have gone down by two or more in three of their last six away games. Roma, by contrast, have been in imperious form against weaker teams of late. They have won 10 of their last 11 games against bottom-six teams, and six of the last eight of those victories have been Win/Win HT/FT results. It’s no surprise that they’re priced as short as they are this week.
Given the extent of the mismatch between these two sides, finding value can be difficult. That being said, we think that it’s hard to go wrong with Roma to win to nil.
