Napoli have been a tough nut to crack at home and that should continue on Monday night.
Napoli v Sassuolo - Monday 18:00, BT Sport 1
Napoli missed the chance to go top of their Champions League group midweek with a disappointing goalless stalemate at home to Dynamo Kiev. It was their third draw in four matches in all competitions, and they’ve managed just a single victory in their last five. However, despite the stutter in form they can still qualify for the knockout rounds in Europe, and remain in the pack of those hunting one of two Champions League spots not taken by Juventus.
Sassuolo are enduring a torrid run of form at the moment, winless in eight matches across all competitions, having lost five of the last six. They’ve conceded at least two goals in each of their last six, but they have at least managed to get on the scoresheet themselves in all of their last 16 away games, despite having not won in 10.
Napoli should get back to winning ways here, especially with home advantage where they’ve won 10 of their last 12 at the Stadio San Paolo in the league. They’ve won four of their last five against their opponents here, but given Sassuolo’s record of scoring on the road we’re backing Napoli/both teams to score at 3.4.
