It's a quiet Monday on the racing front but Tom Gilmore still has two strong fancies.
Echuca R8 No.5 - THE FLYING DOORMAT
Terribly difficult horse to catch but breakthrough for a win almost a month ago on Seymour Cup Day, drew for a lovely run in transit and peeled to make his run 400m to score quite easily (7th horse has since come out and won). Form stands up going forward and this is arguably an easier race, draws nicely again and should have any excuses.

Quirindi R3 No.3 - KYRGIOS
Hit the line like a nice horse in the making over 1000m two weeks ago when run of his legs early, he was the only horse to make ground (on-pacers race) and gets to 1200m which is a massive tick. Better for the run and thinking he will be far too good from the soft draw.
