Ballarat R1 No.4 - TUNISIA TRAVELLER

Thought she was good to only go down a length a week ago at the mile here, runner-up out of the race should have won in town at Sandown yesterday which gives a bit of merit to the form. Looks the sole leader in the race and early on in the day here often suits those closest to the speed. Like the quick back-up for a mare racing well, she'll be hard to beat at a good price.

Ballarat R4 No.10 - DUHALLOW

3yo filly taking on the older horses here but she does have a touch of class, just found the 1200m here a week ago a bit much, she wasnt far off Swiss Kiss (been on the heels of some really good ones) and prior to that when fresh only finished a length off Grey Street (Stakes class filly). That form should be good enough for this/massive tick that she comes back to the 1000m, hard to beat if she gets some peace on-speed.

Hawkesbury R1 No.2 - COLOUR DROPS

Thought this mares recent trial on a soft track at Rosehill 1/2 was very good, did things nicely and looked to have a bit up her sleeve (overall time 55.40/rated well on the morning). She's clearly had a few issues/taken time to mature but I think she'll measure up to races in town this campaign and will kick off her career with a win today, will roll forward from the wide draw.

Rockhampton R4 No.3 - EMBRACE THE PAIN

Limited field so going with the horse on the up. This 3yo returns for the first time since September last year, his prep culminated in a very good performance to finish 5th only two lengths off them in a $100,000 race (winner of that was metro-class). Blinkers go on for the first time which means he'll no doubt be prominent in running, as per his style, and that suits here at Rocky. Will fly fresh over the 1050m and be winning.
