Wednesday: Juddmonte International

Roger Varian's two-time Dubai Carnival winner, POSTPONED is the hot favourite for the first Group One of the week. Winner of his last five starts the 5yo was a brilliant winner of the Coronation Cup at Epsom on his return to the UK and was odds-on ante-post favourite to add to that success and defend his King George crown last month before being ruled out with a respiratory infection.

Although seven of his eight wins have come over further, his trainer is confident the drop in trip won't be an issue on the Knavesmire.

Roger Varian said: "We are looking forward to dropping back to 10 furlongs and this race has been an objective of ours since the start of the season. With five other Group One winners in the race, this looks a strong renewal but he seems fully recovered from the setback which ruled him out of the King George."

Postponed's main rival in the market is Coral-Eclipse winner Hawkbill who is one of just two 3yo's in the field, along with John Gosden's King George runner-up Wings Of Desire.

Postponed - 1pt @ 6/4

Wednesday: Great Voltigeur Stakes

Also on the first day is the Group 2 Great Voltigeur Stakes over 1m4f where Aidan O'Brien's IDAHO is the short-priced favourite. Despite not winning since making his racecourse debut back in October of last year, the 3yo has shown strong form in finishing placed in both the Irish and UK Derbies. Officially rated 9lb ahead his nearest market rival Across The Stars, this looks the perfect opportunity for the son of Galileo to land his first group success.

Idaho - 1pt @ 1/1

Thursday: Yorkshire oaks

The Group One action continues on the Thursday with Aidan O'Brien's FOUND leading the market. A multiple group winner, the 4yo was last seen finishing a neck second in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot. Her nearest rival in the market and on the figures will be stablemate and Irish Oaks winner SEVENTH HEAVEN who will be receiving a fair chunk of weight from the favourite.

Found - 1pt @ 7/4

Thursday: Lowther Stakes

The market for the Group Two race over 6f for 2yo fillies is dominated by progeny of the all-conquering Frankel. Ante-post favourite for next year's 1000 Guineas, the unbeaten FAIR EVA is an odds-on favourite to add to her bloodless victory in the Princess Margaret Juddmonte Stakes.

Second in the betting is another daughter of Frankel, QUEEN KINDLY. Third at Royal Ascot over 6f, she dropped back to the minimum trip to secure a facile victory at odds of 1/16 at Catterick on her latest outing.

Fair Eva - 1pt @ 4/7

Friday: Nunthorpe Stakes

Friday's big race sees July Cup winner LIMATO tackle 5f for the first time. A six-time winner over 6f, connections stumped up the £30,000 to supplement the 4yo for the Group One showpiece.

Owner Paul Jacobs said of the decision to try the trip for the first time: "It's uncharted territory, the only reason we're contemplating it is that in the July Cup he not only showed a good turn of foot at the end but his cruising speed in the early part of the race encouraged us to think that we might be able to drop him back down to the five.

"It is probably preferable not to be trying it for the first time in a Group 1 race for which you have to pay £30,000 as an experiment, but we are where we are. It's still part of the learning curve we have with him."

Clive Cox's PROFITABLE was 3 1/2l behind Limato in the July Cup but, unlike that rival, is a proven 5f specialist and will be returning to his preferred trip having won three group races over the minimum trip already this season.

Limato - 1pt @ 3/1

Friday: Lonsdale Cup

Old favourite and York specialist CLEVER COOKIE leads the market in what looks an extremely open renewal of the Group Two. Peter Niven's 8yo and will be hoping to improve on his 4th place finish in last year's version where he was beaten by Willie Mullins' Max Dynamite.

The top Irish Jumps trainer is represented this year by WICKLOW BRAVE whilst Goodwood Cup 2nd and 3rd PALLASATOR and SHEIKHZAYEDROAD look set to do battle for the third time this season.

Clever Cookie - 1pt @ 10/3

Saturday: Ebor

Willie Mullins' IVAN GROZNY is the ante-post favourite for the famous handicap over 1m6f. The 6yo hacked up at Galway last time out and will be aiming to give Mullins his second winner of the race after Sesanta's victory in 2009.

Ivan Grozny - 1pt @ 6/1
