We look at who has been well supported in the market this morning.
First up today is Karl Burke's 2yo PARNASSIAN. Impressive enough when making a winning debut on the AW at Newcastle, Clifford Lee’s allowance negates the 7lb penalty and hopes are obviously high that he can repeat the performance that saw him win by over four lengths. 5/2 on first showing last night, support has been steady all morning with some firms now as short ad 7/4.
Over at Kempton this evening EYESHINE is the well-backed favourite in the 1m4f maiden. John Gosden's 3yo found only the progressive Dubka, who has won twice again since, too good at Chepstow in June when appearing to relish the step up to this trip. Jockey Frankie Detorri's only ride of the day, punters have snapped up the 6/5 with some firms now offering just 8/11.
Down at Brighton there's some money for THE GREEDY BOY. Unplaced in all of his six starts, he finished a 10l sixth of 13 at 25/1 on his latest outing at Salisbury over 1m (good to firm) earlier this month. It looks like there are plenty out there snapping up the each-way value with 6/1 the general price from 12/1 overnight.
Finally today, David Barron's 2yo MAMA AFRICA has been backed into favouritsm in the opener at Carlisle. Placed twice in three starts, things didn't go her way when finishing a 3 1/2l sixth of 8 at 7/2 on her latest outing at Beverley over 5f (good to firm) earlier this month. The market expects better today with the 7/1 of last night long gone and 7/2 now the best odds on offer.Check the latest market movers throughout the day with our market reports
