The Vikings are on a roll and that can continue in Sunday evening's live TV clash.
Houston Texans at Minnesota Vikings - Sunday 18:00, Sky Sports 2
Despite Tom Brady's return to action this weekend Sky Sports have decided to focus their coverage on the unbeaten Minnesota Vikings in the first live match of three on Sunday. The Houston Texans (3-1) are the latest team to try and overcome Mike Zimmer's defensive powerhouse, following a return to winning ways with a 27-20 win against the Titans having not scored a single point when facing the Patriots the week before.
Wide receiver Will Fuller impressed for the Texans in that victory over the Titans, but quarter-back Brock Ossweiler threw two interceptions along with two touchdowns and will need to be more consistent against one of the NFL's best defences.
The Vikings defence has been shutting down opposition’s QBs and receivers for fun on a weekly basis and as a result they’ve conceded on average just 12.5 points per match. Offensively, quarterback Sam Bradford has been doing just fine since his move from the Eagles, while Jerick McKinnon has come in and performed well for injured running-back Adrian Peterson.
The Vikings are on a roll and we expect that to continue here, the offense should score enough points to go alongside their dominant defence so we’ll back them to win by 7-12 points.
