The Texans are in the bottom-five for almost all the offensive stats the NFL keeps.
Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans – Monday 01:30, SS1
The third and final live game on Sunday comes from the AFC South as divisional rivals Houston Texans host the Indianapolis Colts. The Texans lost 31-13 in Minnesota to the unbeaten Vikings last week and their record now reads 3-2, while the Colts’ record reads 2-3 after winning a tight game 29-23 against the Bears last week.
Indianapolis have one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks in Andrew Luck but he is running for his life almost every week as the offensive line struggles to protect him from opposing pass rushers. Their defence hasn’t been great either, but they’ll have a chance to put pressure on Houston QB Brock Osweiler who’s thrown seven interceptions already this season and looking an expensive mistake for the Texans.
The Texans are in the bottom-five for almost all the offensive stats the NFL keeps and this has led to the dismissal of their offensive co-ordinator, so it remains to be seen if they improve in this department over the coming weeks.
Andrew Luck playing in a dome is always something to keep an eye on and we think he has the beating of his opposite man so a Colts win is our pick.
