The Redskins look value at odds-against to come out on top at Wembley on Sunday.
Washington Redskins at Cincinnati Bengals – Sunday 13:30, BBC
A treat for fans as there is a live NFL match on the Beeb for the second week running after the Giants beat the Rams at Twickenham last Sunday afternoon. This week it’s the turn of the Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals to make the hop across the pond and we should be in for another competitive game at Wembley Stadium.
It’s been a pretty slow start for the Bengals (3-4) who lost some important players and coaches over the summer but they’ll be hoping they can build on last week’s victory over the Cleveland Browns in their first every appearance in London. The Redskins meanwhile have won four games this season but will be very disappointed they aren’t coming to England with five after throwing away last week’s game against the Lions in Detroit. Quarterback Kirk Cousins ran in a touchdown with 65 seconds left on the clock to put the Redskins 17-13 up only for their defence to let the Lions go straight back down the field and score a touchdown with just 15 seconds remaining.
Washington’s defence will find it tough again if Josh Norman isn’t passed fit but overall we think these teams are evenly matched. The Bengals are 1.65 best priced so there is much better value in backing the Redskins at odds-against.
