The points line looks a touch too high in the first live NFL match of week nine.
Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Friday 00:25, Sky Sports 1
We are officially past the halfway mark of the NFL regular season as we head into week nine and the live action this week commences on Thursday night in Tampa as the Buccaneers host NFC South rivals the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons are top of the AFC South and are having a good season with a current record of five wins to three losses, plus they can boast the number one ranked offence in the NFL. Victory last week over the Green Bay Packers proved they are serious contenders for the NFC Championship. However, one of the Falcons' three losses came on the opening day of the season when they lost at home to Tampa Bay, their third defeat to the Bucs in a row.
The Bucs took the impressive Oakland Raiders to overtime at home in last week’s loss and will be hoping for another strong performance on Thursday night. They’ll be buoyed by the news that Falcons star receiver Julio Jones is carrying a knock and with running back Tevin Coleman listed as questionable to start, Atlanta’s offence could slow down a bit this week. With this in mind, 51 total points looks a pretty high line so we suggest you go under.
