The Eagles can cover the points spread in the final NFL game of the week.
Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles – Tuesday 01:30, SS1
Monday night football comes from Philadelphia this week where the Eagles will welcome this season’s biggest underachievers the Green Bay Packers. A few injuries to key men has completely derailed the Packers season and without the brilliance (at times) of quarterback Aaron Rodgers they would have a far worse record than what is an already poor 4-6.
We said last week the Redskins should score against them easily enough and it showed as Washington put up 42 points in their win over Green Bay. The Packers won away in Jacksonville on the opening day but since then they haven’t had a single win on the road and in the game before the Redskins one, they gave up 47 points to the average Tennessee Titans.
The Eagles defense is becoming special and at home they have been very impressive conceding just 10, 10, 03 and 15 in the four games so far, winning them all. The offense hasn’t been as good under rookie quarterback Carson Wentz but the Packers will surely help them with that this week - they can’t stop anybody.
The Eagles are better than their record of 5-5 says and we expect them to cover the point spread against this terrible Packers defense.
