One team has dominated the betting on the footy finals this week

West Coast look to keep the dream of back-to-back flags alive on Thursday night when they take on Essendon at the Optus Stadium. The Eagles have a dismal record against the Bombers in Finals football, losing all five games. However, none of those loses have come in Perth which will does give hope to the home fans.

Plenty in the media expect this to be quite a tight affair, however the betting suggests completely different. A staggering 90% of all people clicking to bet on the game via Oddschecker are lapping up the $1.22 on offer for an Eagles win. The Bombers have been priced up at a rather generous $4.6 with one of the corporates.

Despite being heavily backed, West Coast remain a $10 shot to win back-to-back flags and haven’t attracted much attention in the futures betting market. Richmond are the $3.1 favourites to win the Grand Final, and have accounted for over 70% of all people clicking to be on the Grand Final via Oddschecker.

The remaining three fixtures this weekend look much harder to call, and the betting has been pretty even.
