Punters hone in on red-hot form

Zousain has been a popular favourite this week heading into the Coolmore Stud Stakes this Saturday.

The son of Zoustar is at the top of the market across most corporates and punters have been keen to get on early. He is holding roughly 35 per cent of the total investment since the final field was declared earlier in the week.

Zousain has red-hot formlines and it is easy to see why punters are chiming in early. The colt had the Golden Rose won before The Autumn Sun nailed him in the shadows of the post and that form has proven to be a cracker, with the winner going on to claim the Thousand Guineas in a freakish performance.

With no The Autumn Sun here, Zousain gets his chance to claim a maiden Group One.

Written By has been backed to beat him though in the past 24 hours. In fact, money is running a little over two-to-one in favour of the Blue Diamond winner since yesterday.
