The Kris Lees-trained In Her Time has been the notable firmer in betting in the past 24 hours in the Black Caviar Lightning Stakes (1200 metres) at Flemington.

In Her Time, runner-up in The Everest back in the Spring, is first-up heading into the race but has gone from a high of $7 (on Wednesday) to be pushing Sunlight for favouritism.

TAB has her at $4.60 while Sunlight heads the market at $4. Next best outside the pair is gun three-year-old Graff which is considered a $6 chance.

“They’ve been chipping away at In Her Time since Wednesday,” TAB’s Andrew Georgiou said.

“In Her Time is definitely the biggest firmer in the race but Sunlight is still commanding the majority of the investment.”

Of the others, Divine Quality has caught the eye of punters tipping an upset and has had good each-way support for a few days now. It is $26-$15.
