The New England Patriots have created a dynasty that many modern day NFL fans haven’t seen in their lifetime.
Hot off the back of a Superbowl 51 victory, the Patriots are primed to repeat this coming season.
Despite the bad news of key receiver Julian Edelman sustaining an injury that will keep him out for the season, The Patriots receiving corps have improved overall.
From last season, the Patriots will get Rob Gronkowski back from injury, who was out down the stretch. The returns of Chris Hogan and Danny Amendola will make up for Edelman’s loss.
New England signed stud receiver Brandin Cooks from New Orleans. He has game changing ability, which will compliment New England’s usual style of play.
The Patriots defense will be high class as it always is with Coach Belichick running their defensive schemes.
The Jets and Bills are openly tanking, whilst the Dolphins overachieved last year and lost their starting quarterback this year.
If Brady can stay healthy, the Patriots will waltz to a bye in the opening round of the playoffs.
The Patriots will then be able to host a playoff game. Taking a look at the rest of the field in the AFC, there is little standing between the Patriots and another Superbowl appearance.
The only competition they have this season is the Steelers and they’re a very unpredictable team. They lack discipline, which is always a key when facing New England.
Take a good look at the Patriots to win the AFC Championship as well as Superbowl 52. The lack of competition and the Patriots’ relatively easy road to the postseason could be a huge factor in putting them in good stead to repeat last year’s achievement.
