Round Two's banker multi pays $3.27 with one bookie, don't miss out on cashing in on this. Bet Here.

Collingwood v Richmond

Collingwood were dreadful last weekend! Hopefully their massive loss to Sydney will stop Pies’ fans dreaming they can win the flag this year. The injury for Swann is a huge blow and will have a massive impact on their season, not just on the pitch. Richmond beat Carlton in the opening AFL fixture but it wasn’t comfortable, they were pushed all the way by the Blues. Pies are low on confidence after their humiliating defeat and off field scandals, expect the Tigers to take the points on Friday night at $1.68.

Everything is pointing at Tyrone Vickery, he kicked three last week against the Blues, and he was also the main man against the Pies in Round 21 last season kicking six. Therefore I’d be stupid not to back him to kick the first tonight at $11.

Adelaide v Port Adelaide

Both Adelaide sides like to play good attacking football which sets up the Adelaide showdown to be a real humdinger. Neither team were at their best in the opening round, the Crows went down to North and Power only just came good against the Saints. Adeladie Crows may have lost in Round One, however they can take a lot from the game. They scored 97 against a well fancied team, whereas cross town rivals Port conceded 100 points to St Kilda, which is never a good sign. Adelaide will win the derby, and the $2.38 looks great value at Palmerbet.

I’m shocked to see you can back Taylor Walker at $11 to kick the first of the game. He didn’t have the best of games against North, only kicking two and three behinds. However he’s a top player and I’m tipping him to build on his tally of 59 goals in 2015. When backing him this weekend, make sure you get the best odds, as he’s $8 with another bookie.

Oddschecker's Best Offers:

Get 4.5 for Scott Thompson to have 28 or more Disposals & Adelaide win the match here.
Get $3.5 for Taylor Walker to Kick 3 or More Goals and Adelaide Win the Match here.
If your team loses by 18 points or less you'll get your stake back with Crownbet

Essendon v Melbourne

The Demons really impressed me last week winning a low-scoring game at MCG against GWS. Melbourne have some good young stars coming through their ranks, they won’t be the whipping boys everyone expects them to be in 2016. My money is on them to win back-to-back games and heap even more misery on Essendon. The Bombers would have been deflated before last weekend, and the 61 point loss would have totally knocked the stuffing out of them. I’d take a year off Bombers fans.

Jesse Hogan is a gun, he’s got a massive future ahead of him. He’s getting the rap because he landed my tip last week when he kicked three! That aside the boy can play, he’ll kick plenty more this round but my tip is him to open the scoring at $8. If Essendon give Hogan the chances they gave the Suns he could have his best day in AFL to date.

Oddschecker's Best Offers:

Get $2.75 for Nathan Jones to have 28 or more Disposals & Meblourne win the match here.
Get $2.5 for Jeff Garlett to Kick 3 or More Goals and Melbourne Win the Match here.

Brisbane Lions v North Melbourne

Possibly the easiest game of the round to call, if anyone is tipping my old boys to score a win I’d love to buy what they’re drinking. It says a lot about a team when reports suggest they weren’t embarrassed, even though they lost by over 60 points. The Roos weren’t too convincing in Round One but they took the points, they look a class outfit on paper this season and easily make finals. North will cruise to victory against Brisbane, they are short at $1.29 but Oddschecker do also have a lot of handicap markets available.

The Lions welcome back Joshua Green into their team, the small forward always offers a little bit of value when it comes to the first goal kicker. Hopefully he can produce the goods for me, he’s $16 with one bookie and $11 another.

Oddschecker's Best Offers:

Get $2.75 for Nick Dal Santo to have 26 or more disposals & North Melbourne win the match here.
Get $3 for Ben Brown to Kick 3 or More Goals and North Melbourne Win the Match here.

St Kilda v Western Bulldogs

Another game which is fairly easy to call. The Bulldogs smashed the Dockers in the opening round, winning by 65 points. The Saints were also pretty handy scoring 100 points in round one but they still lost by 33 points to a disappointing Port Adelaide. I wouldn’t like to be a St Kilda fan for this one, I’m on the Doggies to win and win in style.

Luke Dahlhaus only registered one behind in the opening round, however the Western Bulldogs star normally averages a goal a game. The Bulldogs will look to come out the traps firing and put the Saints on the back foot straight away, hence why I’m backing Dahlhaus to kick the first at $21 with one bookie.

Oddschecker's Best Offers:

Get $2.5 for Jack Macrae to have 28 or more Disposals & Western Bulldogs win the match here.
Get $3 Jake Stringer to Kick 4 or More Goals and Western Bulldogs Win the Match here.

Fremantle v Gold Coast

Freemantle were terrible last weekend, their main man Nat Fyfe looked half the player he was last season, however I think (hope) this was a one off. Hopefully last weekend was a wakeup call for the Dockers, as I’m backing them at short odds $1.23. Every AFL fan has been waiting for this clash, the two Brownlow favourites on the same pitch. However, I think the performance of returning Aaron Sandilands will make the difference.

Hayden Ballantyne didn’t kick any last week, which shows how poor the Dockers were. The Fremantle forward will want to show that last week was just a blip, get on him to kick the first at $11.

Oddschecker's Best Offers:

Get $2.5 for Nat Fyfe to have 28 or more Disposals & Fremantle win the match here.
Get $3.5 for Matthew Pavlich to Kick 4 or More Goals and Fremantle Win the Match here.

Greater Western Sydney v Geelong

How good were Geelong last weekend? They took down the reigning champions Hawthorn. Patrick Dangerfield had a dream debut, if he churns out those sort of performances this season the Cats could be a real force. Geelong are quite rightly favourites at $1.47 to beat GWS. The Giants will be hurting after letting a comfortable lead slip in the last quarter in the opening round. GWS don’t have a player who can keep track of Dangerfield, not many teams do, this is just one of many reasons why I’m on the Cats.

The Tomahawk let me down last weekend, but I’m sticking with my man. The Cats forward managed to kick two in round one, but unfortunately not the first, I’m expecting a big year from Hawkins, but today I’ll be more than happy if he lands my $8 tip for him to kick the opener.

Oddschecker's Best Offers:

Get $2.5 for Patrick Dangerfield to have 30 or more Disposals & Geelong win the match here.
Get $3.5 for Tom Hawkins to Kick 4 or More Goals and Geelong Win the Match here.

Hawthorn v West Coast

You wouldn’t have expected Hawthorn to come into a round two fixture and be $2.28, however with a few key players missing and last week’s defeat, the bookies don’t fancy them. Hodge and Roughead are massive absentees, and are almost irreplaceable. The Eagles are well worth backing at $1.75 to take the points in the repeat of last year’s final, they’ll pretty fresh after a relatively easy run out against Brisbane in round one.
Mark Lecras has been around for ages now but he still knows where the posts are, he kicked two against the Lions last week and I’m backing him to kick a few more this weekend. He’s been priced up at $11 to kick the first against the Hawks, which is defiantly worth backing.

Oddschecker's Best Offers:

Get $3 for Matt Priddis to have 31 or more disposals & West Coast win the match here.
Get $4 for Mark LeCras to Kick 3 or More Goals and West Coast Eagles Win the Match here.

Carlton v Sydney Swans

Unfortunately my old team could get a bit of bruising this weekend. The Blues face Sydney who come off the back of that massive win against the Pies. Carlton themselves played well in the opening round, however narrowly missed out against Richmond. This Swans team look the real deal, they’ve got a classy midfield and two top finishers in Franklin and Tippett. I can’t see anything else but a Sydney win in the final fixture this weekend.

Obviously all the attention will be on Buddy and Tippet, however the $21 for Luke Parker to kick the first offers real value.

Oddschecker's Best Offers:

Get $2.5 for Lance Franklin to Kick 5 or More Goals and Sydney Swans Win the Match here.
Get $2.5 for Daniel Hannebery to have 30 or more disposals & Sydney win the match here.
