I’m pumped Richmond are back in action on a Friday Night….

The Tigers have a good record against the Hawks, however they’ve been woeful this season and even worse to view. They’ve not come to the party at all, only winning one fixture, which was against the Blues in the opening round. The good news for Richmond fans is that Hawks were pumped by GWS in Round 6, and on paper there isn’t much between the Giants and Tigers.

The two teams have been pretty similar in terms on disposals this season, but Hawthorn have used the ball a lot more effectively. Tigers rely heavily on Jack Riewoldt to kick the goals and Deledio/Martin to get the ball to him. If one of these players doesn’t turn up their machine doesn’t function.

Hawthorn are a better all-round team, however their injury list is building each week and this will eventually take its toll. This fixture won’t be pretty but I expect Hawthorn to get the job done against the Tigers. Even with players missing they’ll be far too strong. If Tigers have any chance of winning they need to shut down Sam Mitchell, and after last week’s performance against Port, I have no confidence in them doing so. I’m getting on the Hawks to win by 25+ at $1.57, but I’ll also be jumping on Ladbrokes boost, $2 for Hawthorn to win by 34.5.

Jump on the price boost with Ladbrokes,

As mentioned Sam Mitchell should find it pretty easy going on Friday night, and unfortunately the bookies are wise to this. They’ve priced him up at $1.41 to have 30+ disposals which is very short! Therefore I’m taking the $2.8 on offer for him to get over 35.
