Essendon v Hawthorn

We're going to witness a Friday Mauling!

This will be that one-sided I've decided to cash in and give you three must-back bets tonight! Hawthorn need this game to boost themsevles up the ladder, they currently sit 5th and take on the bottom team, who even lost to Fremantle.

This year was bound to be a struggle for Bombers fans, and they would have been dreading playing against reigning champs and their old nemesis. Last week, Essendon looked nowhere near the team who gave North a squeaky bum. They went down to a win-less Fremantle with ease. To be polite, they stand no chance tonight!

Hawks have struggled to put teams away of late, but they've not played a team this poor. Hawthorn have not been their best, but have still managed to win eight, which will be worrying for the rest of the league.

Jump on the Hawks to punish Essendon and win by 50+ points at $1.92. My second bet of the day is on Jordan Lewis. Without Mitchell there will be an opportunity for the thirty year old to be the main man. He was electric in Round 10, picking up 42 disposals. I only need 30 from him today to pocket the $2.6 on offer.

Jack Gunston has been named to play, which is bad news for Essendon. He's kicked 21 goals since Round 7, he's well worth smashing to kick 4+ at $2.2 tonight. Finally, feeling a bit frisky this Friday, get on the Lewis/Gunston double at $3.7.
