How sweet was last weekend when I landed the Dangerfield double on Friday Night?

The contrast in form between these two teams is amazing, a few weeks back I wouldn’t have given the Pies a chance. However, Collingwood have got up in three of their last four and North have lost five on the bounce.

Where have the Kangaroos gone who played in the opening nine games, they look a shadow of their former selves. They were pretty god damn awful when they lost comfortably to Port last weekend. This game is huge for them, another loss and they’ll be opening the door to a number of teams to slide into the top eight.

Which Collingwood will turn up? They’re an outside chance to make the finals, but like recent seasons they’ve been the definition of inconsistent. Their form does flatter them, they recorded wins over Fremantle, Carlton and GWS before they became unstuck against the Crows.

This game will be won by the forwards converting their chances, expect a very tight game. Cloke looks to have discovered some from for the Pies, at the other end of the pitch Ben Brown has made up for recent poor showings from Waite and Petrie.

North have conceded over 90 points in their last five games, and the Pies have done the same in the last two games. Making $3.4 for both teams to get over 90 tonight a good looking bet. There’s so much on the line for North, they can’t lose, I’m backing them to win at $1.79.

With Waite missing, North will need a huge game from Lindsay Thomas, I’m going to get on him to kick three and Dal Santo to have 30+ disposals at $7.5.
