North Melbourne v Sydney

Can Buddy match Kennedy’s performance last night?

The Sydney gun needs a huge night to stay in Coleman contention, it looks unlikely but that boy is capable of anything. Remember when he kicked thirteen against North? His team can leap frog the Hawks if they managed to get the job done against North. North Melbourne are in shocking form, they’ve lost eight of their past eleven games. The early season pace setters are in danger of missing out on finals if they lose again today, as Melbourne have a fairly easy game against the Blues.

The Swans can’t guarantee themselves a top four spot after the Eagles got up last night, but a win today will pretty much secure it. They’ve won their last four and expect the form team to win the opening Saturday game. North Melbourne look shot, they’ll need huge games from their midfield but even that might not be enough with Sydney’s forwards. Get on the Swans at $1.36.

Tom Mitchell normally get ignored when it comes to the Sydney Midfield, but he’s had a cracking season which includes a high of 41 disposals against North Melbourne. Get on him to have 30+ disposals today at $2.4.

Richmond v St Kilda

Given that the Tigers have won their last six games against the Saints I’m quite surprised they’re as big as $1.75.

This game will be won in the midfield and not many in the competition can match Dustin Martin at the moment. The Richmond star hasn’t recorded under 28 disposals since round 11! The Richmond players will have received some stiff words after blowing such a lead in the final quarter against the Cats. Expect them to come out firing, get allover the $1.75 on offer for them to win, it’s massive overs.

Martin’s still in the Brownlow race, expect him to have another day out today. I’m not only backing him to have over 30+ disposals I’m also getting on him to kick three or more. Over 30 disposals is paying $1.3, he’s $10 to kick three or more goals. You can double them both at Sportsbet to the sound of $13.

GWS v Fremantle

Don’t you just love a $1.01 shot…

GWS have the luxury of playing Fremantle this weekend, a win tonight will enhance their chances of finishing in a top four placing.

Unfortunately for the Dockers, the Giants will be angry at the manner they lost last weekend. Expect a backlash!

If a few miracles happen Freo could still bottom of the ladder, so have something to play for. However, they rely far too heavily on Lachie Neale. Unfortunately for Neale, he’s up against some pretty handy players. GWS strength is in their forwards, with Cameron and Johnson they can blow away this Fremantle team.

Get on the Giants to win by 60+ at $1.53. Take your pick when it comes to goalkicker bets in this match, but Johnson to kick four at $3.5 looks the most tempting to me.

Collingwood v Gold Coast

I smell an upset! Both teams are hampered by injuries and both teams are in pretty poor form, so my advice would be take the generous $4.15 for the Suns and turn the box off!

Both teams suffered losses last round at the Etihad, the Suns more embarrassingly lost to Essendon, whereas the Pies went down narrowly to the Bulldogs. With injuries I really don’t think there is much between the two sides other than Tom Lynch. He’s been the shining light for the Suns, he’s sitting third for most goals this year and should be to considerably add to this tally against the Pies.

As I’ve mentioned take the $4.15, it’s huge overs. Also take the $2.7 on Tom Lynch to kick four or more.

Port Adelaide v Adelaide

Adelaide look the real deal at the moment, they’re kicking goals for fun and will be far too much for Port who’ve lost their last two games.

Port have been really disappointing this season, they promised so much pre-season but have been shocking at time. Not a great advert for Footy in China. They’ll want the season to be over ASAP, especially as they went down by 40 points to Melbourne, a team they should really be beating.

There cross-town rivals just can’t stop scoring! It’s not surprising when you look at their forwards. Jenkins, Betts and big Tex all sit in the top ten goalkickers this year. You’re a mad man if you tip anything other than a massive win for the Crows tonight, the $1.91 on offer for a 40+ point win is the bet.

Expect Tex to stand up in this Derby, he loves a battle and will be well up for stuffing the neighbors. Walker to kick four or more at $4.5 is the bet tonight.

Almost there!
