Thursday Night Finals, does life get any better?

I love the idea of an elimination final being on a Thursday Night!

West Coast Eagles play host to the Western Bulldogs at the Domain Stadium. The latter part of that sentence is massive! West Coast have been on fire all season at home, they’ve won eleven from twelve in 2016. Added to that is the fact the Bulldogs have a pretty poor recent record at the venue.

Eagles head into the fixture on fire, they’ve won four in a row, the last three against GWS, Hawthorn and Adelaide. Given their form and who they’ve beaten, $13 for them to win the flag represents decent value. Even better if you use Ladbrokes price boost feature, I managed to get on at a massive $19! If you’ve not tried this it’s well worth looking at.

The Bulldogs looked like they might be able to land themselves a top four spot earlier in the season, however injuries have cost them dearly. That said, they still dropped points against a few weaker teams they needed to be beating. Beveridge will be asking a lot more from his boys after they only kicked six goals against the Dockers. They’ll need huge games from both Dahlhaus and Bontempelli.

West Coast will be asking more of the same, I actually think they’ll cruise through this game. Kennedy to could be in for a field day, he finished the season as leading kicker with some big performance to pull away from Franklin. At $1.22 I’d be sticking that into every multi I have this weekend. Again I’m mentioning Ladbrokes, but you can get $1.7 for the Eagles to win on Thursday which is crazy money!

Back Kennedy to get the job done, after last years Grand Final he’s got a point to prove. He’ll be a man on a mission in finals, jump on to kick five+ goals at $3.1. Also get on Gaff to have a day out, he averaged a shade under 30+ disposals in the regular season and comes off the back of 41 against Adelaide, not to mention his 38 against the Hawks. He’s $1.4 to have 30+ on Thursday.
