Geelong v Hawthorn

Who saw that coming last night! The home team getting humbled by the outsiders, hopefully the same doesn’t happen tonight.

When these two clubs last met Patrick Dangerfield quite frankly took the piss, the ex-Crow racked up a massive 43 disposals which contributed in a 30 point win for the Cats. That was in Round One though, a lot has changed.

The Hawks almost screwed up landing a top four position, but got over the line with that win against the Magpies. There have been question marks about the Cats inconsistency this year, they’ve lost to a few teams they should have thrashed. However it’s impossible not to back them tonight, they’ve got the Hawks covered in the midfield with Selwood and Dangerfield.

Tom Hawkins make a real difference tonight, he’s always a danger but lately he’s started putting in match winning performances including six goals against the Demons. This one reason I’m backing the Cats, the other is because Hawthorn just don’t look them old selves. They only just beat Collingwood, lost to West Coast and lost heavily to the Demons.

You’d be brave not to back the Cats, get on them winning at $1.68. I’ve already mentioned Dangerfield, he should be able to dominate the Hawthorn midfield today, get on him to have 30+ disposals at $1.45.
