Sydney Swans v GWS

The Swans finished top of the ladder and head in faves for the clash against the Giants. Sydney Swans will be buoyed after winning the regular season, and will enter the clash confident after a massive win against Richmond, which was their sixth on the bounce. GWS enter the finals in pretty steady form as well, they’ve won six of their last seven.

Both teams have match winners at the right end of the field, Franklin will be key for the Swans and will look to out-kick Cameron. However, I think this game will be won in the midfield, that being the case I can’t look past Swans. Their midfield is a different gear, Parker, Hannebery and Kennedy will be just too good for a solid GWS midfield. The ANZ Stadium probably plays into GWS hands, however I’m all over the $1.85 for Swans.

Franklin will be disappointed to miss out on the Coleman, but he won’t be fussed if his team goes on to win the flag. Buddy’s averaged 3.4 a game this season which includes seven against Richmond last time out. Jump on the rather juicy $6.5 for him to kick six today.

Luke Parker has an outside chance of getting the Brownlow after a stellar season where he’s averaged 31.2 disposals a game. He’s well worth backing to have 30+ disposals at $1.35 seeming he’s had over that amount in six of the last seven games.
