Sydney Swans v Adelaide

What a game this will be, two of the most dangerous teams in the comp go head-to-head at SCG. This game was belter earlier in the season, the Swans just ran out of puff in the final stages.

The best attack plays the best defence! We all know what the Crows have in the forward line, the famous trio of Betts, Jenkins and Walker are all in red-hot form and will be tricky to stop. If one club can put the brakes on this trio then it is the Swans.

The Swans will be hurting after last weeks embarrassing defeat to there neighbours, keep an eye out for the likes of Kennedy, Hannebery and Parker, they’ll want to put things right. Those three have been the recipe for success this season but face stiff competition from the Adelaide midfield, who have surprised a few this season.

So who wins this? Attacking wise, I don’t actually see too much between the two teams. Yes, the Crows have that trio but Sydney have Buddy, and support from Heeney, Papley and co. In the midfield Sydney have the edge, you can argue Geelong and Hawthorn could compete with them in this department, but not Adelaide. Defensively, Sydney win this pretty easily, the stats don’t lie. Therefore, get on the Swans to take down the Crows at $1.66.

Buddy ‘s last four games have gone 6 goals, 0 goals, 7 goals, 0 goals, he’s due another big game. Franklin will be pretty filthy he didn’t pick up the Coleman after playing the full season, and will be even more annoyed by his performance against their city rivals. He kicked four against Adelaide earlier on in the year, he’s worth backing to have 4+ again at $1.83.

Tom Mitchell has gone about his business quietly year, not always getting the accolades he deserves. He’s had 30+ disposals ten times this season. Get on him to have 30+ this weekend at $2.4.
