The reigning premiers are looking to bounce back after a shock loss to Fremantle last week.

The inaugural AFL game on ‘Good Friday’ has two sides heading in vastly different directions in 2017. After falling into the finals last year the Kangaroos have started the year by losing their first three games and they have now entered the discussion to claim the wooden spoon.

The Bulldogs will be desperate to bounce back after a surprise loss to Fremantle last week and they return to Etihad Stadium, a ground where they won 10 of 14 games last season and are undefeated this season.

North Melbourne will take confidence into the fixture based on recent history though - they have won three of their past five encounters with the Dogs including a 16 point win at Etihad Stadium last season.

In that win not one of their players registered 28 or more disposals, and Jarrad Waite, who is out long term with injury, was the only multiple goalscorer.

LACHIE HUNTER. The young Dog had a massive 44 disposals against North Melbourne in the Round 6 loss last year and 21 disposals and a crucial goal in the win that followed later in the season.

Hunter is a ball magnet and we suggest backing him in the Group B most disposals.

The Bulldogs should have too much class and too much to play for and record a five-goal victory.

The common theme when these sides met twice last year is that the games were notoriously low scoring. In Round 6 at Etihad Stadium the match total was just 106 points and when they played at the same venue in Round 20 it was just 108.

It is a surprise that the total game score has been set at 189.5 and we are keen to back the Unders.
