The Giants are going to prove why they are premiership favourites after they get through with the Dogs.
I am a big fan of GWS and the way they play. They are humming at the moment and I think they will give the Western Bulldogs a lesson here in somewhat of a revenge mission following last year’s Prelim Final loss.
Back GWS straight out and to cover the Line of 21.5 ($1.90 @ Unibet).
I know the Bulldogs are the champs but there are a few chinks in the armour that the Giants will expose here. Put simply, GWS will be too good and might even gap them by 10 goals.
In player markets, have something on Toby Greene Most Goals and Dylan Shiel 30+ Disposals.

I am surprised that Hawthorn are favourites in this one.
Don’t get me wrong, I think they will win but looking at this game before the markets came out I thought we could secure a bit of value about the fallen champions.
Oh well, it’s a little shorter than I would have liked but back Hawthorn for the win.
I think there are two good bets when it comes to disposals betting. Have something on Jack Steven and Tom Mitchell in the Player To Have 30 Disposals or More market.
TOM MITCHELL 30+ DISPOSALS
JACK STEVEN 30+ DISPOSALS
Sydney are already 0-5 but I think after they go up against my boys that they will be in an even deeper hole and that may spell the end of their finals aspirations.
The Blues are the value here in my opinion (although I may be a little biased) but I honestly think they can win and the price on offer ($4.40 @ Topbetta) is awfully tempting.
At worst we will play it safe and take Carlton at the Line of 29.5.
Buddy Franklin is the man when having a crack at Most Goals while disposals players should look to Hannebery and Kennedy. It’s going to be wet, conditions will be tough and I can see the game deteriorating into a slogfest which makes having something on Carlton even more tempting.

I smell an upset on the cards here.
I am tipping Brisbane at the fat price of $5.40 @ Palmerbet which could set us up nicely for the rest of the weekend.
The Lions aren’t the worst side in the competition and I am not totally convinced on Port just yet so this is a game that could be worth having a throw at the stumps at.
Get on Robbie Gray Most Goals and Beams for at least 30 touches in disposals markets.
Sit back and cheer on the Lions and hopefully they can lob at the value!

I reckon the bookies are on to something here as they’ve kept North very tight in betting.
Not sure about the price ($1.49 @ Palmerbet) but I think North Melbourne will break their duck egg here. They aren’t a bad side but the fact they’re 0-5 suggests that something smells in the camp.
I can see them racking up their first win of the season here and who knows it may even spurn them onto a much needed run.
Even though I am tipping against them I won’t tip against the ‘Son of God’ – get on Gary Ablett Jnr to get 30+ Disposals as its money for jam on a weekly basis!
GARY ABLETT JNR 30+ DISPOSALS
Who doesn’t love a good local rivalry and this one is right up there with the best of them!
Hmm, I think there is value to be had in giving the Dockers a go here considering they are in a bit of form at the moment with three straight wins.
I am putting my money where my mouth is and suggesting you take Fremantle with the start (23.5). West Coast were rubbish last week against Hawthorn so I don’t think they will be thrashing their hated rivals in this.
Get on Josh Kennedy to score First Goal while Sam Mitchell is the man in the 30+ Disposals market.

The Bombers are coming back down to earth in this one.
Sure they beat the Pies (my new adopted team!) in that epic ANZAC Day clash but they will be coming off such a high that I think the Demons are likely to jump them.
Take the Dees at the price ($2.10 @ Sportsbet) because they impressed me enough last week against the unbeaten Tigers. Remember, they had Richmond on the ropes and couldn’t finish them off – I don’t think they will make the same mistake here.

The Tigers are the ones that will come out of this still undefeated.
Both these teams are 5-0 and while it isn’t much of a surprise that Adelaide are on top of the table, what about Richmond? Their supporters are absolutely wetting themselves at the moment!
Well, I am thinking the party will be even bigger for those in Tigertown as not only do I recommend taking them at the start which has been set at a ridiculous 33.5, but I am even going so far as saying they will get the ‘W’.
Go on, I know you want to take the $5.20 @ Unibet.
The other bet I am really keen on is Dustin Martin 30+ Disposals – he’ll get that every week. Just keep lining up and backing the boy!
